Employee Of The Month is just one of those comedy films that actually was fun to watch as soon as you pop it.
Granted there are characters that could have been done with out and no this film will not win any rewards but it is pretty fun.
Employee Of The Month follows the story of Zack (Dane Cook) and Vince (Dax Shepard) as they fight to be Employee Of The Month to try and impress Amy (Jessica Simpson).
Just watching this film it gives you quite the laugh as it is full of clever and funny one liners from Zack and Vince.
It also features a very good soundtrack with songs that were made for the movie.
Dane Cook is really funny in this film and he show case his talents in comedy films plus Dax made that kind of villain that show how much an antagonist he is through the film. Jessica did what she could in the film. Jessica and Dane did work well together in the film.
There are characters you will feel like they shouldn't be there but with Dane, Dax and Jessica in the film you can just forget about the other characters that you don't like in the film.
The film story is really the selling point of course with Dane, Dax and Jessica being the main stars of the film.
With a good story and laugh out moments with good one liners you should enjoy this film.
I give Employee Of The Month an 8 out of 10

Plot summary
Slacker Zack Bradley works as a box boy at Super Club, a warehouse club store. It is the lowest in the job hierarchy at the store. He doesn't work very hard at his job, and along with some of his fellow employee friends treats the store like his playground. Regardless, he is well liked by most of the other employees. He used to be hard working, when he was developing a dot com, but he lost all his and his grandmother's money in the process. As such, he decided not to take any risks in life while he now lives with her so as to provide her with what he considers at least a more reliable life. On the other extreme is Vince Downey, who lords an air of superiority over his fellow employees as the store's head cashier. He lives to be the store's best employee solely so that he can be named Employee of the Month, which he has been named seventeen months in a row. If he is named Employee of the Month for a record eighteenth time in a row, he will be rewarded with entrance into the corporation's management track program and a new car. Zack decides he wants to break Vince's streak if only because he reads in the employment record of recent transfer, the pretty Amy Renfro, that she had a thing at her previous store for men who have been named Employee of the Month. Zack finds that working toward being Employee of the Month is not as easy as he thought, especially as Vince will not relinquish the title and all its perks without a fight, dirty or not. Zack has to decide how far he is willing to go to get the title and the girl.

Really Funny
Keep coming back to this movie over and over
Keep watching this over and over. Dax Shepard was the real star of this movie.
unlikeable Dane Cook
Zack Bradley (Dane Cook) is a slacker who knows all the tricks and popular with everybody. That is except for Vince Downey (Dax Shepard) who has become head cashier of the store and winner of seventeen consecutive "Employee of the Month" awards. Amy (Jessica Simpson) is a new cashier who only dates "Employee of the Month" winners. Zack and Vince compete to get Amy's attention by trying to win the award.
There is something annoying about Dane Cook. There's a side of meanness and arrogance to his character without the joy. It's a major problem. At least Dax Shepard is suppose to be unlikeable. If they do a switcharoo, it would vastly improve the situation. Jessica Simpson at least smiles a whole lot. So she's more than a pair of boobs. She's a pair of boobs with a smile. There's also Andy Dick, and Harland Williams. It's a case of more isn't always more. They are funny as the wacky guy in the group. Put them together and they step on each other's jokes.
