Really boring story that is no different from any similar romance stories. That's not the worst, songs are kinda bad and it's kids acting. Characters of Sarah is annoying too, grow up pls. Feel really "sick of" her as what come out from her mouth.

Plot summary
ODE TO PASSION is an original Rock Musical Drama built around 18 pop rock songs. It follows a young writer, whose belief in true love is put to the test by a beautiful girl and her struggle with addiction. The film is made unique by its non-musical scenes that are spoken purely in verse. This approach reflects the purity and beauty - as well as the hidden naivety - of young love. Working seamlessly with the musical numbers, it complements the pace of the film to create a constant melodic rhythm, even when no music is present. Broadway veteran Giuseppe Bausilio, as well as Broadway newcomer, Julia Nightingale bring to life this story of young love and the path it is destined to take.

Well this was different...
It's not a 10... not even an 9 or an 8, a 7 at best, but I give it 10 for gutsy originality. Came across this by chance, looking for Musicals from 2020. Had no idea it would all be spoken in verse. Very cool and very well done! Music is not bad, some pretty catchy melodies. The ending is not what I was expecting at all. Overall, this is one of the most original movies I've seen in a long time. The acting by completely unknown actors is really good. Little films like this should get more exposure, so much better than some of the Hollywood made musical fiascos that just completely suck.

I really liked the songs, some are light hearted and others dig deep in. I loved the cinematography, So many shots could be postcards. I thought the acting looked very natural, never did it feel over acted. I loved the youthfulness of the main characters held up by their mature friends. Most of all I loved the versed melodic dialogue intertwined with the songs. A beautiful quilt that warms the heart. It drags a bit at the beginning but what a powerful ending.
