So this movie is not necessarily required to understand the first movie however if your a fan it's a great prequel to watch it recaps the first two seasons of the show, this is the best way to see that as the show doesn't have English subtitles and is very expensive to import from Japan, cobra and his gang are the main focus here as well as a business crime family also the brothers make an appearance and as I said in my the red rain review hiroto is my favorite absolutely recommend this to a fan but due to the overload of information I would say don't make this your first one start off with the first movie then red rain if you love those watch this.
