Unlike others who had read the book and waited for this movie, I am from Vietnam and I hadn't hear about the book. Going in blind into this movie, I can say I found it pretty sweet and cute. Unlike cheesy drama and high-fi dresses and colorful scenes, the movie did good keeping itself real and nostalgic. The story may not be unique but it surely is worth it. I didn't see the end coming it that way which makes it different from other romantic movies. If you are into 'real' and 'ordinary' lifestyle of Asian students in majority in addition to a sweet and heart-warming story, this is the place. You will not regret it. Give it a try!

Its a film make me feel like my first luv =)) A love with smile, funny and gander. Minh Trang actress is so beautiful, no different from Luu Diec Phi huh =))) But i wonder why film cut so much. Having many segments of film dont have, it make viewers dont know why if they havent seen or read book before. And hope film have full verison on web soon lol =)))) p/s: my English not good :( so i cant express it all, thank you very much

One of the best movies I've ever seen. Maybe I have read the book before watching the movie. Maybe I have been counting for almost a year before getting a chance to watch it. Or maybe because I have watched all the short scene in the movie from its own studio who made it.

I don't know why. But I like this movie. The soundtrack was good. All the characters were good too. The story also was so into our generation. I can see my childhood memory every second passed by.

Is it possible to feel nostalgic about a time, a story when you weren't there at all? I guess yes.
